The word “competition” comes from the Latin con petire, meaning “to seek together.” The 永利体育 boys’ tennis program asks our student-athletes “to seek together” through a culture of respect―respect for teammates, 对手, 教练, and for the lifelong game of tennis. We value the process of improvement through hard work, 纪律, 和实践, and recognize that every player relies on the other player across the net to improve. Tennis is a game of errors, and learning to persevere through adversity is a valuable life skill that will serve our student-athletes well both on and off the court.
The 永利体育 boys’ varsity tennis team has been among the most competitive programs in New England, capturing four Founders League titles (2008, 2009, 2010, 2012) and three Class A New England Championships (2008, 2010, 从2006年到2012年.
Several student-athletes have proceeded to play NCAA Division I and Division III college tennis after their time at 永利体育.
Our program benefits from what might be the best tennis facilities in New England, with 15 all-weather outdoor courts as well as a beautiful indoor facility with three newly resurfaced, 永久硬地法庭. Student-athletes have access to the indoor courts throughout the year for consistent improvement of their game.
