The word “competition” comes from the Latin con petire, meaning “to seek together.” The 永利体育 boys’ tennis program asks our student-athletes “to seek together” through a culture of respect―respect for teammates, 对手, 教练, and for the lifelong game of tennis. We value the process of improvement through hard work, 纪律, 和实践, and recognize that every player relies on the other player across the net to improve. Tennis is a game of errors, and learning to persevere through adversity is a valuable life skill that will serve our student-athletes well both on and off the court.
